PETA (People for The Ethical Treatment of Animals) wants fish to be renamed to “Sea Kittens”: It wants to change the image of fish as slimy and slithery creatures by claiming they are similar to cuter, more popular animals. “Would people think twice about ordering fish sticks if they were called sea kitten sticks?” PETA [...] There is no doubt that the long Presidential election of 2008 rattled everyone’s cages a bit. And as November’s election day grew nearer the nastiness also grew proportionally. Racial epitaphs were thrown about, neighbors were attacking neighbors over yard signs and others faked attacks to further fuel the hate. Now the election is over, a [...] One night out of sheer curiosity I hooked myself up with a log-in to Classmate.com. I know, it’s a complete bunch of rubbish. Not to mention it’s an e-mail spam nightmare. A word of caution, should you ever want to create a log-in to this site get a separate G-mail account first.
