The Way the Crow Flies

I haven’t been able to do much reading lately. Most of my time has been spent on the Steamboat Forum battling the right-wingers on political issues. Anyway, I did manage to plow my way through Anne-Marie MacDonald’s The Way the Crow Flies. This book has been living on my shelf for a while, but I have started on a new mission to go through this pile of unread books. It isn’t a fast paced book by any means and considering it is over 700 pages it would be a good book for the winter. I did like the writing style, but it took forever to end with the author almost painstakingly tying up all of the loose ends.

Amidst all of the politics, bail outs, debates and campaign speeches, there is another race going on. The race for the Worlds Series.

The first game in a best of five series with the Dodgers didn’t go so well for the Cubs. Coss your fingers everybody – a win tonight would be marvelous.
