On the Road to the White House
Another round of votes occurred over the weekend: Washington, Nebraska, Louisiana, US Virgin Islands and Maine. All going to Obama. I am starting to actually feel that there may be some hope in our future. Folks in Washington D.C., Virginia and Maryland get out the vote tomorrow. Pollsters are giving Obama another huge win. We all know to take everything they say with a grain of salt, so I will wait to read the results on Politico. My fingers are crossed, however. Meanwhile the Clinton camp has had a bit of a staff change. Hillary has appointed her long-time assistant to the position of campaign manager. This little shake-up follows the heels of reports that Clinton campaign funds are coming up short. Of course, all of this is being downplayed by the Clinton Camp – no surprise there.
Have you noticed how no two news agencies seem to be reporting the same delegate count? It’s an incredibly confusing state of affairs, but the New York Times has made a fairly good attempt at explaining things. It appears that trying to tabulate delegate totals is a lesson in futility right now.
