One of the joys of not having television is that you don’t have to suffer through watching or listening to good ‘ole W. However, had I known about the Annual George W. Bush SOTU Drinking Game, I might have made an attempt at watching it. I really didn’t think so many Americans would fall for Hillary Clinton. The woman scares the shit out of me and to find so many folks supporting her… well, that scares the shit out of me even more. [...] I am not a religious person. I am also of the opinion that the vast majority of self-proclaimed religious people are nothing more than your garden variety hypocrite. They attend church every Sunday, Easter and Christmas therefore assuring themselves a first-class ticket straight to heaven. Most of these people are relatively harmless and can be [...] Today was an absolutely beautiful day – sunshine, warm (31º) and no wind. I managed to get out into the yard for another trek with the snow shoes. It was much easier going this time around since I managed to get the trail packed down a bit yesterday. I added another loop to give it [...] With the arrival of winter, the majority of birds leave us and migrate to warmer climates. We are usually left with a large flock of Black-Capped Chickadees, Magpies and one or two woodpeckers. This photo is of a male Downy-Woodpecker.
