For some of us, cars hold a special place in our hearts. We have a passion for the automobile. There are cars we love and cars we hate. There are also those unattainable cars that stay with us through the years. These are the “someday” cars. They are the ones you will stop to look at. They are the cars that have touched something inside you and “someday” you will own one.
So take a few minutes to ponder this question: What is your ultimate dream car?
Now go to Google images and search for a photo of your dream car. Here’s mine:
It’s a 1957 Chevy Bel Air convertible in Seafoam Green with the Seafoam Green and White Pearl interior. Check out those sexy fins. The whitewalls pratically make me cry. I don’t just want this car, I need this car. Unfortunately, my current financial status prohibits me from owning this beauty. A fully restored model ready to be driven (which is what I want) can run close to $100,000. Crazy.
Even so, my dream car isn’t completely out of reach. There are fixer uppers available and I don’t care if it’s completely original. I’m not going for a show car. I want to cruise around town in this baby.
